When you visit the website
Your browser sends technical information to the server that delivers the website, including your IP address, the time and the page you open. This information may appear in operational and security logs kept by our hosting provider. The purpose is to display the website, find errors and protect against misuse. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in a website that works and is secure, GDPR Article 6(1)(f). Log files are kept briefly as part of normal operation.
Cookies and local storage
We do not use cookies for statistics or marketing. There is no Google Analytics, no Meta Pixel and no advertising tracking on this website. We use two technical items:
- pll_language — a cookie that remembers whether you read the site in Danish or English. It is set by the language function and stored for up to a year.
- wpEmojiSettingsSupports — a note on whether your browser can display emoji. It is kept in your browser session storage and disappears when you close the tab.
Both are necessary for the website to work as expected and therefore do not require consent. You can delete them in your browser settings.
Typeface, map and links to other services
The website typeface is hosted on our own server. No fonts or scripts are loaded from Google. Google Maps is not embedded on the page — the map is an ordinary link. When you click a link to Google Maps, Facebook, Instagram or findsmiley.dk, you leave our website, and that service’s own terms apply to your visit there.
Table bookings and enquiries
Tables are booked by phone. When you call, we note what we need in order to hold the table: name, phone number, number of guests and time. We use this to carry out the reservation, GDPR Article 6(1)(b), and we do not keep it longer than necessary.
If you write to info@bisur.dk, we process your email in order to reply.
If you tell us about an allergy or another dietary consideration, we use that information solely to prepare your food safely, and only for the visit it concerns. We do not keep a register of guests’ health information.
Providers and recipients
The website is hosted by Simply.com, which processes information on our behalf when the site is displayed and logged. We do not pass information about you on to others, and we do not sell it.
Your rights
You can ask for access to the information we process about you, and you can ask to have it corrected, deleted or restricted. You can object to processing based on legitimate interests, and in certain cases you have the right to data portability. Where processing is based on your consent, you can withdraw it at any time.
